The idea of candy first came from the caveman who ate honey. Ancient Egyptians made candy first, but not for the

purposes you’d expect. In the past, Ancient Egyptians made candy by finding anything sweet and hen used the first candy for religious purposes.
People also used candy for medicinal purposes. To calm the digestive system and cool a sore throat people utilized candy. In the Revolutionary War soldiers obtained candy as rations.
Modern-day candies are mostly made by machines in factories. Some ingredients used to make candies are sugar, water, and milk. By dissolving the sugar in water or milk you can form a syrup. Then you boil until the candy reaches the desired concentration or starts to caramelize.
According to a poll in our school, the most students prefer chocolates. The least liked are fruity candies.
