Most sixth and seventh graders thought later on in the school year they would get easier work later on in the school year. Nearly every eighth grader believed it would get harder.
Sixth grader Teyana Taylor thought that how crowded the hallways would be made it difficult for her.
Sixth grader Jesse Bobadilla said that his assignments kept getting harder and longer.
Seventh grader Jocelyh Guerra said, ¨I feel like its getting harder because they are starting to teach us hard stuff.¨
Eighth grader Aaron Luna said, ¨ What we learn is getting harder… they need to prepare us for end of the year test.¨
A few students also believe that the teachers made it harder.
Eighth grader Giovanni Ramiro thought school was only getting ¨a tad bit¨ harder, but said a teacher would always get mad at him for the smallest things.
Ms. Tran, when asked, said her students have not been struggling lately or have complained about the work. She also stated that she believed it would get slightly harder later on in the school year.
