Edison 8th grade player from the Team America participated in the soccer tournament at Southeast Middle School.  He mentioned that his favorite position was center midfield. He said he wanted to be in the soccer tournament because he wanted to have fun with his friends and he wanted a little challenge. He said that he thinks his team will not be able to win the soccer tournament but he hopes to win.

Nathan, 7th grade player from the team LAFC, mentioned that his favorite position in soccer was striker. He decided to participate in the soccer tournament because it is fun and he likes to play soccer. He thinks his team maybe going to be able to win the tournament.

Xavier, 8th grade player from the Team America, he decided to play in the soccer tournament because he’s “GOATED”. He mentioned that his favorite soccer position was being a striker. He thinks his team will win the tournaments because “if you put in a lot of determination you can do anything.”

Javier, an 8th grade player from the team Boca Juniors, decided to play in the soccer tournament

because he is in a soccer team outside of school. He also mentioned that his favorite soccer position was center back. He thinks his team will be able to win the soccer tournament because most of them are soccer players.

The soccer tournament is important because it gets students active and participating. It helps students develop physical skills, team work, and promote healthy competitions.
