Valerie said that she enjoys playing volleyball and considers it one of her favorite sports.
Layla, eighth grade DREAMS said that one of the main struggles that all girls have in volleyball would be the comparison because some girls will try to force themselves to act the same as someone else and compare their abilities to their own. She says that she also deals with this but there’s room for improvement in everyone.
Elainey said, “My favorite thing about it is maybe like getting to play the sport I love the most and helps me cope with things and get my mind off things.”
On a team, you need to get along with your teammates. Becoming acquainted with your teammates ensures that your team will work stronger together as a group. Sophia Jimenez, when asked what her favorite part of volleyball would be, she replied that she likes to play the game with her teammates.
