The dance on Sept. 25 had a lot more kids than usual, and sold more tickets than last year with over 200 tickets sold.
Many kids had fun dancing and eating with their friends.
The line to get in was so long it was at the Truba gate. The kids were showing their tickets and started going inside the dance. After going inside the dance the kids started lined up again for food, and drinks.
After the students got their pizza, nachos and drink they started sitting down in the benches eating. Some of the kids didn’t get to eat because the line was, and there was no pizza left.
The dance staff ordered more pizza but out of 31 pizzas that were supposed to be delivered at southeast middle school. Only 13 pizzas arrived.
“When the pizza ran out we tried to get more pizza but a little bit came, instead of giving out more pizza we gave out more nachos, and drinks instead of pizza,” Isabella Herrera, leadership committee, said.
When all the students finished eating they started going inside the dance and started dancing like going in circles. Mr

Yamashita was the DJ for the dance and played “Golden” by K-Pop Demon Hunters, “Caballo Dorado” and “Cha Cha Slide.”
