The students who buy from the student store felt shocked because the student store inflated their prices more to 25 cents extra since the start of the school year.

Students can buy snacks from the student store like chips, drinks, ice cream etc. The chips now cost $1.25 but before it would cost one dollar but the water stayed the same price.

Most of the students had some negative reactions about the changes.

“I feel negative because it’s definitely expensive for little bags”, Ivoryrose Ortega-Canada said. 

An employee from the student store said that they raised it because where they get their supplies from raised their prices so the student store had to do the same to not make less profit.

But most of the students can adjust to it.  Adrian Estrada, six grade student, felt like that because it’s not that pricey and you have to bring more money.

The prices might cause less students to purchase snacks from the Student store because they can not afford it.
