It’s that time of year again, Halloween! Students will be able to dress up for school but there is a policy explaining about no revealing costumes, face covering masks or clown makeup, students must be able to see and no fake weapons. Let’s see what students have in mind for costumes that abide by these rules.
Alyssa Falteta, DREAMS 6th Grade, says, “I think [Halloween] is good ‘cause you get free candy.”
Angel, DREAMS 6th Grade, says “[Halloween] is my favorite holiday and I like to dress up and go trick or treat.
Marco, DREAMS 6th Grade, says, “I think [Halloween] is pretty fun and I get a lot of candy.”
Alejandra, DREAMS 8th Grade, says, “I think that Halloween is fun because you get to dress up and go trick or treating and get treats.”
Orlando Toscanpo, DREAMS 6th Grade, says, “[Halloween] is not really that good.”
Ruben, SEMS 8th Grade, says, “I think that Halloween is awesome. I love it because it is a way you can express how you feel sometimes.”
Vince, SEMS 8th Grade, says “I think [Halloween] is cool because you can dress up and go get candy.”
Arturo, SEMS 8th Grade, says, “I think [Halloween] is pretty fun.”
Leonard, SEMS 8th Grade, says, “I think [Halloween] is alright. It is spooky month, you can go trick or treat.”
Madison Avalos, SEMS 8th Grade, says “I love Halloween.”
Stephanie Hernandez, SEMS 8th Grade, says, “Halloween is the best. I love Halloween.”
Some students dressed up as animated characters such as Rabbit from Hoodwinked, a minion and, Theodore from Alvin and the Chipmunks. A student dressed as a Disney character. A student dressed up as a superhero such as Spider-man. A couple students were horror or monster characters, for example Art the Clown and a mummy.
Some students chose to not dress up, not feeling like dressing for Halloween or did not have any costumes to wear.
