Thanksgiving, a very popular holiday, many people celebrate the holiday with a traditional turkey and events. Some celebrate in different ways and with different people for this holiday
Do you eat any special dishes?
Ms.Young mentions that when she goes to her side of the family her mom makes a special dish called chitlins. This dish is usually deep fried and made from pig intestines. Mr. Vargas responded to the same question by saying he usually eats tamales with his family.
Do you go to any special place for thanksgiving?
8th grader Jeremiah Bradford responded to this question by stating his family celebrates thanksgiving at his house. Another 8th grader Steven Guardado said he stays home with his family and they eat. The most popular response to this question was going to a family member’s house, these are a few of the outliers.
Who do you spend Thanksgiving with?
All of the people interviewed stated they spent time with their family. One person in specific, Mr. Dang, mentioned that he spent his ¨Thanks-taking¨ as he calls it with both his family and his partner’s family.
Lucio Alvarado responded to a question about any fun activities he does after Thanksgiving, he said he plays tag. However, a majority of the interviewees said they mainly just ate with their families.
