Spring break is when students celebrate holidays such as Easter and get a break from school activities. People usually travel, spend time with family, and do fun Easter activities leading up to the day such as egg hunting. Often students stay at, home and do nothing with their time
When asking students what their plans were for Spring Break, DREAMS 6th grader, Julio V. responded with, “I want to use my phone, play games, and go on jogs with my dogs.’’
SEMS 8th grader, Laurie S. replied, “I am going to my cousin’s house, and I am going to hang out.”

Toward the end of the interviews, we asked the students for any possible entertainment recommendations they suggest students look into during break. Julio V. answered this question by encouraging students to watch the new “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” movie recently showing at local movie theaters! As one of the last responses, Laurie S proposed the idea of binge-watching the entire Scream and Halloweentown franchise.
Even though Spring Break felt like it flew by in the blink of an eye, we hope you made the most out of it and enjoyed every second! Southeast Middle School Eagles deserve rest and a break now and then. Now that we have returned from break, it’s time to finish off the school year strong!
