In Ms. Moreno’s own words, “Kindness means showing empathy towards someone and always wanting to do something good in your every day.” Ms. Moreno says she conceived of Kindness Week when she realized many students found difficulty in embracing kindness. She recalls, “Even a please, or a thank you was very difficult.”
Spirit Weeks involves dressing up with different themes on each day. It’s a fun way to meet new people and spread kindness. I’m sure the teachers will like it as well because there getting a special surprise as stated by Ms Moreno, so teachers hope you have a good time.
Ms. Moreno seems very enthusiastic about the upcoming Kindness Week. From the way she talked about it, it sounds like a fun event. She encourages all students of Southeast Middle School to participate and spread kindness to one another.
