Student members of leadership have planned some activities that will happen in a couple of weeks. Some of these activities will be during lunch and some after school.
A few activities during lunchtime include the three-leg race, capture the flag, pie a teacher, and hot potato. These events were hosted on January 22-26 during testing week to allow students to have some fun after iReady.
When asked what events will be hosted during upcoming dates they stated that they are currently preparing for a
dance coming up somewhere around February. Another event mentioned that will soon be hosted includes the NBA movie night. The NBA movie night was made for people who have perfect attendance so if this sounds like you make sure to look forward to it.
When we asked for more information about the February dance Cesar O and Ivan M, two members of the leadership class, stated that the dance was themed as a friendship dance.
Furthermore, leadership is planning a fundraiser to help out children in need. They plans to raise the money through the event of Pie a Teacher Day hosted on the 26th of January.
When we inquired about the activities we noticed that some leadership members were working on posters. Through ¨thorough interrogation¨ we found out that the posters they were working on were for Congratulating the NBA all-star, and to say bye to the 8th graders. These posters will be hung up in the hallways and other places around the school.
