Based on our interviews, most students seem to prefer having breakfast in the classroom.
“Why do people have to go outside to get breakfast when breakfast in the classroom is better because it’s cold outside?” asks Anadelia K, a student in Leadership.
Having breakfast in the class means that students won’t have to go outside to get breakfast. Another good thing is if you come late you can still get breakfast and the teacher will be able to have extra food in case a student gets hungry. Finally, you don’t have to go ask to get breakfast.
However, having breakfast in the classroom means teachers don’t have excess food in their classrooms attracting ants. Another thing they do right is not wasting class time to get breakfast get.
After considering all of this information, we’ve decided that we prefer breakfast in the classroom as opposed to the current breakfast stations. The anxiety that some students feel asking for breakfast can stop them from getting it. This coupled with the reasons that some students have shared with us, and the information presented here, we like breakfast in the classroom better.
