Student Altercations
Like every school ours has had a history of fights but had a spike last year. When asked about the topics staff and teachers all seemed to agree that our school has improved a lot regarding the quality and the amount of altercations. Mrs. Garnica also stated that our school has and has not improved because every year can differ not only does it depend on the students but staff and teachers as well.

When Mr.Rosener was asked about his experience last year he stated that compared to last year, “this year has been a 180, we cut the fights, we only had 1 or 2 the whole school year, and to me, the school feels a lot safer”.
When questioned about how we could all improve as a whole he answered, “Students can always improve by trying harder and caring more. Teachers can improve on making it more fun for the students every day.” “We gotta take it seriously and try to relate to the kids and have some fun moments in the class”.
Students also think that their experiences have either seemed better or calmer from last year. Gerardo T. also stated a lot of confrontational students have left the school.
Improvements
Students and teachers alike also seemed to agree on improvements. Some students mentioned how our school has improved on our rules and the staffing.
Most students have noticed by now that there’s a lot more new stuff around like in the hallways and around the field and cafeteria. The rules have also become enforced more firmly, especially with recording altercations and preventing anything from escalating.
When we asked some students, Edgar thought our school could improve “how many events we do” each year. Alek said that he thinks the rules should improve. Gerardo thinks our school should become stricter on students who do other things like vaping.
Something mentioned by almost all students was that the school should improve the lunch and breakfast. A lot wish for it to come back to classes and for the quality to improve more specifically the lunch. Nathan said he thinks the school breakfast can improve and doesn’t like it. Reporters Opinions
We feel that there’s fewer physical altercations compared to last year. The students haven’t acted crazy and acted so much like animals. The school also improved with better food and more fun assignments.
