Students played in the volleyball tournament on 11/7. Each team contained 6 students. Tournaments take place either in Dreamsor Sems lunch located inside the gym. Most students join the volleyball tournament to have fun or because of their friends.

The teams included the Eagle Girls, Las Chismosas, The Gators, The Paw Patrols, The Monkeys, The Avengers, The hallpassers, Umpa Lumpas, Grimace Shakers, Real Madrid, The Cheetahs, Make-a-wish Avengers, McDonald’s Fries, All Stars, The Diamonds, Breadsticks, the Knightstands and the Ops.

One of the players, Lizette Rodriguez said that she joined because it was fun and she likes being active, despite not thinking she would win.

A member of the Breadsticks, Sharon Torres also said she joined for fun, but she thought that her team was going to win.

Our first few rounds led to the eliminations of several teams, but some of them are still staying strong. These teams are the Eagle Girls, The Monkeys, The Gators, The Avengers, Real Madrid and The Diamonds.

Jessie Q and Ricardo E both said that they didn’t expect to win the tournament and they felt good that they won the tournament.
