Monday, December 11th was Ugly Sweater Day where the students had to wear ugly sweaters. Tuesday, December 12th was Candy Cane Day where students were to wear red and white. Wednesday, December 13th was to dress as either Santa Claus or Mrs.Claus. Thursday, December 14th was Grinch Gear Thursday and students had to wear green. Finally, Friday, December 15th was Festive Friday, allowing students to wear holiday attire.

When Nicholas Mendoza was asked what he thought of this month’s spirit week, he stated “I think these ideas for spirit week were very unique in a way where a lot of people will participate in them.” He also states he had an idea for a blue and white day to play into a winter theme.

Along with this, Southeast is also hosting a door decorating contest. This contest’s Three themes are Winter Wonderland, Christmas, and New Year’s. Participants of this contest have until Friday, December 15. Leadership came up with a rubric to determine the winners of this contest.
