Regarding the numbers, this is what Lieutenant Arana had to say, also, these are just estimations.” When I asked him how many people were expected to attend he responded with, “I’d say there are a good, thousand people here. I imagine that there’s 150 cars.”
When he was asked his preferences like his favorite color on a car he said, “Red.” or his favorite car of all time after a sigh he said, “I’d like to say, a ‘63 Mustang.” when asked how he got into cars he said, “My preference is Harley Davidson Motorcycles.”

Finally, when asked all about car shows like if there was one in the past he said, “There have been car shows in the past, here in the city of South Gate, but, this is the first one that we put together, the police department.”
When asked about challenges he responded, “Support from personnel, the challenges that come with it, you cannot do everything by yourself, to help you reach your goals, and in this case, the goal was to bring the community together, bring cars together, bring the police department together to one event.”
Lastly, when asked his role in running the show his response was, “Well, I’m a police lieutenant, in the police department, and so my job is coordinating, the car show, and putting it together. Advertisement, the administrative part of it, the registrations, getting the money.”
