Students participate in the school’s flag football tournament every Tuesday and Thursday. These tournaments occur during SEMS or DREAMS lunch. They added these school tournaments because the new principal, Mr. Gomez suggested doing it so can give students a way students to have fun and keep them out of trouble at the same time. Mainly all the students participating in this flag football tournament joined because their friends decided to participate in this fun activity.
Results
Raiders vs Steelers and Niners vs Chiefs’ first games occurred on 9/28. The Chiefs took the win by 28-21 with only three people on their team up against five people.
Steelers won the game against the Raiders.
On 10/5 the games Niners vs Vikings and Eagles vs Dolphins were canceled.
On 10/10 the Chiefs beat the Vikings 14-7. Both the Seahawks and the Dolphins ended up winning due to forfeit because they were ineligible players on the field.
On 10/12 the Cowboys beat the Chiefs 35-7.
The Seahawks and Chargers tied the game with 14-14.
Lastly, the Bills took the win against the Rams with a score of 14-7.
The last flag football game is going to take place on 10/12 before the semi-finals start.
Who will win the tournament? Students should go watch the games and support their friends. Students also should be aware of the upcoming basketball and soccer tournaments.
