The 8th graders made memories that will last a lifetime. The dance lasted until 5 p.m. Some 8th graders wished the dance had lasted longer.
At first glance, the MPR seemed too small to have a dance, but the MPR had plenty of empty spots for 8th graders. If you went or saw you can tell people had a lot of fun. Mr.Vargas, he stated “ Seeing students who are normally quiet having a good time letting go and that was fun to see.”

Although students had fun at the dance there were disappointing moments. Genesis A and Anthony C suggested, “Don’t make it too dark I couldn’t see anything.” Students also said that it felt like a waste of snacks because the people in charge only let people get one from each section.
The 6th and 7th grade dance also had its low moments. According to 6th graders Jayleen V and Maricela R their least favorite part of the dance included “The fight,” and “they almost shut down the dance because of the fight.
According to Leslie and Vincent, yearbook photographers who attended the sixth grader’s dance, a fight broke out within thirty minutes of the dance. Leslie stated, “Then they made everyone get on their knees the staff members gave them a lecture about how they shouldn’t be acting wild.”
Will the 6th graders get their dance privileges taken away? Vincent stated “People/students were taking off the decor, and the students were hiding the snacks.” It sounds like to me the sixth graders got off on a bad foot.
Both of the dances seemed fun according to all the feedback. I’m sure others can’t wait till the next one which on October 27th.
