Mr. Zamudio, one of the football coordinator, stated that the tournaments would be taking place on tuesdays and thursdays, during lunch/homeroom. The coaches tried to alternate the tournaments so it can be played evenly throughout both lunches.
Due to the fact that Halloween was on a Thursday, they canceled the game and postponed it to the following Friday, Nov. 1. There were 10 teams in total and had two different divisions, five teams per division.
The teams played a very competitive tournament that lasted five weeks. During these exciting weeks the players got very involved into team building and collaboration with each other as team mates and most important, had fun while playing football.
Only two teams were going to come out on top to play the Championship game but only one will have glory to call themselves Champs. The victorious team will be awarded with many prices which can include, a team trophy, Canes cards, Applebees food certificate, and a participation certificate.
The Big Game was hosted by the Southeast 49ers and the Southeast Rams. It was an intense game. At the end of the tournament, it was the Rams who got to raise the trophy high in the air as they defeated the 49ers with a shut out-score of 21-0.
Other teams, like theChiefs and the Dolphins also showed determination. Unfortunately, they lost to another high level team and did not make it to the finals.

The reason I joined is because I wanna go to the NFL and wanna train.
What are your thoughts about football?
It’s really cool and umm it is dangerous but I like the dangerous feeling.
How do you feel you’re gonna do in the tournament?
I think I’m gonna be good.
Do you think the other team will be a challenging opponent? Or what are your thoughts about them?
They will be challenging but the only one thats really challenging is the 49ers.

I joined because one of my friends told me and I actually like football.

I like it because I go for the teams.

I feel like I’m gonna try my best and have fun.

I think they will be challenging because the last team that we went against was challenging.

I joined just to play with my friends for fun but if it comes down to it we will take it as serious as possible.

I like it, it’s a fun sport, I watch it with my brother.

I’m mostly gonna rely on my speed but I think I’m gonna do pretty well.

I think that they look challenging but I’m not gonna judge based on looks.
