Do you have a favorite fall treat? Students here at Southeast Middle School shared their favorite Halloween/Fall snacks and candies for this spooky season.
Jayden Farias, a DREAMS sixth grade student, responded with “Probably Skittles, and Reese’s cups.” He then went on to state that he liked Skittles because they are very flavorful, and Reese’s because of the chocolate and peanut butter together.
Eighth grade DREAMS student, Jacob Pulido, he simply answered with his least favorite candy as, “Peeps, I hate Peeps.”
Ruth Gomez, a seventh grade SEMS student, answered our question (What is your favorite Fall/Halloween treat?) with the “A pumpkin spice latte.”and added that she usually likes to enjoy this drink all year round and not just during Fall/Halloween.
A poll posted on Schoology asked students about their favorite type of candy. Out of the people who participated (around 350 responses), chocolate quickly dominated the competition against the other types of candies with 42.6% chosen as of this last week of October. Order of popularity for the most popular candies: chocolates, liquid candies, chewy candies, and lastly hard candies. The opinions and decisions of our students serve as a good way to decide the majority of your Halloween candies to give out.
