Remember that one teacher, the one that made even your worst subject fun and engaging. The one who becomes your favorite and leaves a lasting impact. What makes a teacher a student favorite?
Nathalie Garcia, a DREAMS Eighth grader, said her favorite teacher was, “Mr. Negrete, because he’s very chill and I’m in his science class and in his robotics class and in his science class we always do experiments and I learn a lot.”
Elijah Givhan DREAMS sixth grader said, “Something Ms. Mayorga has taught him that has stood to him was how to program some stuff onto a micro bit.”
Randy Nunez, a DREAMS eighth grader answered, “Ms. Magallan is my favorite because she’s chill, she doesn’t make us work very hard.” He goes on to explain more that Ms. Magallan allows her students to choose their workouts and he likes that.
Saralee Montoya, SEMS seventh grader responded “Ms. Lemus probably when she let me sit in her chair.”
Audrey Orellana, DREAMS seventh grader, answered and explained that her favorite teacher, Teacher Ray, “lets us sit with our friends and we all laugh together.” She talked about how she loves to stay in their class and enjoys her time there.
As we’ve seen, teachers are willing to go the extra mile and have good qualities to become a student favorite.
