
Pedro Garcia, a 7th grader in DREAMS. His opinion on the uniforms, he isn’t the biggest fan, and wants to feel comfy and worried about others not meeting the requirements. He will shop online for his clothes.
Moe Castellanos a 6th grade student, in DREAMS. He does not like collared shirts very much and doesn’t like the idea of wearing the same thing everyday. He believes that the school is making this policy so the kids cannot bring weapons to school.
Elijah Rosado a 7th grade student, in SEMS. He thinks it is good since people cannot expose themself inappropriately and thinks it is bad at the same time since people can’t show off what they like and do not use their clothes as much. He thinks since people disrupt and violate the dress code and thinks that is the reason why they made the policy.
Aubrei Martinez a 6th grade student, in SEMS. She hates it because she feels like she will look like a bum. She will shop for her clothes at Kids place. She also thinks they are making this policy because people do not know how to dress.
Ms Reina, teacher in 8th grade SEMS. She believes that the policy was made to keep students safe when going to or leaving the campus. She said that the policy was made to create a sense of pride and belonging in the school community.
“I think some students are good with the policy. For sure, I know parents welcome uniforms for money saving reasons. And I want to be clear that students chose the color to wear and made answers in the survey.”
