We asked some of the committee that is involved in planning the upcoming Spirit Week and what they would do for the 100th Day of School. We asked questions about the week they have planned, along with how they are planning it.

Fernando Castillo, a part of the 100th Day of School Committee states “The theme of this upcoming spirit would be about Valentine’s” And he also tells us that for the 100th Day, they have a “Swap Day” planned, where teachers dress as students, and students dress as teachers.

Marquis Jackson, a member of the Spirit Week Committee tells us that ¨The upcoming spirit week’s theme would be something like 90s days, and a pajama day.¨ They also plan the Spirit Week by talking to the counselors about how they feel the theme of the Spirit Week should look like.

Ms. Martinez, the leader of the Spirit Week Committee tells us that the 100th day of school got postponed  because of the recent fires. It will now start on the beginning of February 5th. She said, ¨On Monday, February 3rd would be Whiteout day. Tuesday would be a Monochromatic day. On Wednesday it would be Swap Day … Thursday would be Gaming Character Day. On Friday it will be Anything but a Backpack Day.¨

Ms. Lendo, the PSA and part of the the Attendance Committee, said,¨There isn’t a specific theme, but it is centered kind of around the 100th day of school.” She also said there will be a reward for all the people with proficient attendance.

The attendance team which includes, Ms. White-Holloman, Ms. Tarr, Ms. Martinez and Ms. Lendo.
