Starting March 3rd, the library will have extended hours (or be open after-school) every Monday and Wednesday for all grades.
Whether your are looking for a new book to read, a quiet place to chill, somewhere to work on a project, or print

stuff out, the library is a great place for all of a student’s needs.
Melanie McCord, the school librarian noticed that many kids got passes from their classes to come down and print stuff out or research. So, she talked with the staff, and agreed to open the library after-school.
She believes that this will be a good opportunity for students because they can learn how to navigate the library, find and read up on resources and information, find and check out a book, will help them be more successful students.
If students are unable to come to the library on those days, she is offering a chance to talk to her and make some arrangements for a day that the student is able to stay in the library after-school.
Anadelia, an 8th grader states that she attends the after-school library to get assistance with tutoring and search for books to read. She attends the normal hours every week.
If you need help with projects, looking for a new book, or just want somewhere to rest, check out the library after-school.
