This year DREAMS students must be creating a presentation to show and explain how they’ve improved and learned in the DREAMS program. Students must show one artifact and explain there content. They also need to purpose and the skills they developed through this artifact.
Students when making their presentation first start with creating a frame for the presentation, after that, they will put it on the slides and begin to create their own slides. Students are expected to meet certain requirements for the slides.
The requirements for the presentation must include a creative title for their presentation and an introduction about themselves, while also including their thesis statement or defense stating why students claim to be ready to culminate. Students have to show an artifact that highlights their growth as students. Students must elaborate on the artifact explaining how much students have grown.

Toward the end, students have to summarise everything that they stated throughout their presentation. Essentially repeat the thesis statement as a conclusion and finish their explanation of how they grew.
8th grader Joseph decided to make his artifact about his Californias poster from Ms. G’s class, he said that he feels more comfortable with certain teachers than others, when asked why he chose the project he claimed the project made him the most proud, and got a good grade in it.
Many students agreed that they feel nervous about presenting their projects. Alex C said that he feels nervous because he isn’t used to presenting especially in front of teachers. He also explained that his talents lay in the park of creating the project not in presenting. Angel agree as he stated, “ I feel nervous presenting because I never have presented in front of three [teachers].” Desiree stated, “Yes I would be nervous because the teachers are very intimidating.”
